WHY THE WORLD NEED JESUS Pt.2

TO ESCAPE ETERNAL DEATH

I am on the field of souls because I want as many to escape eternal death. There's a pending disaster that awaits every unsaved soul. It is called eternal/ second death.

When God created mankind, He placed him in a garden where all he needed were provided. Mankind and his world were in perfect state and condition. No sickness, disaster, earthquake, volcano, insurgency, wars, terrorism, accident and all manners of evil we know today.

He was permitted to eat all manners of fruits except the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God forbade mankind from eating the fruit of that tree but from others he could eat: "but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die" (Genesis 2:17).

Unfortunately, the serpent deceived Eve, she ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She didn't stop there, she gave her husband some of the fruit. Both of them ate from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Death resulted from their disobedience. That death wasn't physical but spiritual.

Spiritual death is the separation of mankind from God. Man's sin poised him for eternal death where he'll not have any hope of reuniting with God. Spiritual death has remedy but not eternal death because those that die eternally shall burn in the lake of fire forever. It is sad!

Revelation 20:13-14 says, "The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. THIS LAKE OF FIRE IS THE SECOND DEATH"( NLT).

The second death is also eternal death in the lake of fire: “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death”(Revelation 21:8 NLT).

I am passionate about preaching the Gospel because I don't want sinners to die eternally. The wrath of God is coming upon sinful men. None will be able to withstand His fiery judgement.

The bible says, "for our “God is a consuming fire”( Hebrews 12:29). Another scripture says, "It is a fearful and terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God [incurring His judgment and wrath]"( Hebrews 10:31).

While sin brought death, Romans 6:23 says, "...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord". This is good news. God, being a loving father decided to provide a way out for mankind. Instead of eternal death, God made the provision of eternal life for mankind.

For man to be redeemed from eternal death, the son of God had to die. Romans 5:10 says, "For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!". Death was the method by which Jesus would save His people from their sins. Redemption from sin is was made possible through the substitutionary death of Christ.

1 Peter 3:18 says, "Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit"( NLT).

Sinners need to know there is access to eternal life. They need not partake in the wrath of God that is to come upon sinners. God sent His only begotten son to die for all so that we can be free from the penalty of sin. This is the expression of God's love for mankind. This is the message this lost world need to hear.

Man born of a woman need to be born twice so as to die once but those born once will die twice, the second death, which is eternal death.

Hell is no longer compulsory but now an option. There's a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Accepting Christ is the escape route.

My world must hear this. Spread this Gospel with me.
