An operating system is a program that manages the functions of software and hardware in computer science. There's no computer that will function as desired without an operating system.
The operating system in the realm of the spirit that makes everything work is submission to authority.
Some think it is prayer and fasting but there is an order that gives value to prayer and fasting. So many have turned fasting&prayer machines but are not getting desired result from that realm because they are not playing by the rules.
In that realm, there's a high regard for superiors and hierarchy is recognized. When Lucifer wanted to breach this order by exalting his throne above God, he was deposed and thrown out of heaven because insurbodinatiom is not permitted in that realm.
"For you said to yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north. I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.’ Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead, down to its lowest depths" (Isaiah 14:13-15 NLT).
In that realm, insubordination, pride and lack of submission is frowned against. It earned Lucifer a deposition. Anyone who wants to stay relevant in this kingdom must shun pride, insurbodination and lack of submission even in marriage. Some women are hitting a brick wall for this reason.
Another example is the story told in Jude talking about Satan disputing the body of Moses with Michael.
"But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you!” " (Jude 1:9 NLT).
The scenario above took place when Michael was arguing with Satan about Moses’ body. Did you notice the bible says "Michael didn't accuse Satan of blasphemy"? Yes he didn't. Why? Satan was an archangel in heaven likewise Michael.
They were of the same order, rank and authority. In my opinion, it would be an act of disrespect for Michael to accuse Lucifer even though they weren't in the same kingdom any longer.
However, to overcome Lucifer, Michael followed the operating principle in that realm by saying "The Lord rebuke you". Why? The LORD, was superior to them all and no one is strong enough to oppose Him.
Lucifer had no option than to bow to the name of the Lord and allow Michael perform his duty. Hallelujah!!! That's another example in submission. Lucifer heard the name of a superior and gave way.
Demons know their superior and they submit. Don't forget that realm has rank and order. Everyone knows his limit.
It is dangerous for a believer to be rebellious and insubordinate to authorities. It reduces spiritual authority and deposes one in the realm of the spirit. Demons know this and the moment they sight a rebellious believer, they deal accordingly.
Rebellion and insurbodination removes covering from a man. That is why rebellious people hardly end well because they are exposed to all kinds of demonic attacks.
I use to know a prophet who rebelled against the authority of his church. He changed the church's name and turned it away from the church that sent him. He went blind afterwards and died shortly after. There is no covering for rebellious people.
In the new testament, Paul gave us an insight on how to deal with the various hierarchies in that realm to get what we desire.
"Wherefore God also hath HIGHLY EXALTED HIM, AND GIVEN HIM A NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things IN HEAVEN, and things IN EARTH, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father",(Philip2:9-11 KJV).
That's deep. In that realm, they respect Jesus. On both side of the divide, He ranks higher than all officers (angels&demons). That's why it is wrong to pray in the name of angels or any arch angels. Even Lucifer cannot stand His authority.
You have that edge and advantage over demons because of the name of Jesus Christ. It is the name of a superior in the spirit realm everyone bows to.
