*THE DOCTRINE OF JUSTIFICATION*. Pt.3

Romans5:1 *Therefore, since we have been JUSTIFIED through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ*.

*TRUTHS ABOUT JUSTIFICATION* (B)

I watched a video titled "Kumbh Mela" years back. It is a video about the largest religious gathering in the world, a Hindu festival.

In one week, they gather people numbering 80million from different parts of India. They normally converge at the "Ganges", a river where Hindu priests numbering about 23,000 will serve them ashes and to wash their bodies in the river so that they can obtain forgiveness.

I see it as a gathering of guilt ridden people seeking for justification in the wrong place. Unfortunately, they keep doing this yearly because they never had assurance of forgiveness. We have something better in Christ. Hallelujah!!!

The justification of the believer sounds too good to be true. This is a teaching or subject religion has fought against for centuries. Some persons still find it hard to accept this truth plainly even some preachers.

Jesus did not come to add to the guilt burden of the sinner that repents, His assignment is to take his sins& wash the record away totally.

That a sinner comes to the Lord, confesses or say the sinners prayer and accept a Jesus he didn't see but believes in and then come out saying "my sins are forgiven and I'm innocent of all charges" is incomprehensible to the carnal man, that's just too cheap and easy.

How can a man be declared innocent, righteous and justified freely without paying a price of money or effort?

One may ask, "is justification free?" This is a question begging for answer.

Justification is made possible in the sacrificial death of Christ; it is based on the shed blood of Christ.

Apostle Paul says,  "Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him"! (Romans 5:9 NIV).

The receiver of justification (the believer) receives it freely but the giver (Christ) paid for it. Hallelujah!!! You don't need to pay or apply effort to be justified. Just believe in the justifier( Christ). This is what the enemy is preventing many from believing because it sounds too cheap and too good to be true but that's the Gospel, the goodnews.

That once you're in Christ, the record of your wrongs are erased and that you have a new life. In the court of man, you may be guilty because men keep record of wrongs but in heaven, the record no longer exist because of the blood.

This is the message believers of old heard that made them thank God for their salvation always.

Action Point:

: I am saved, washed by the blood and justified. I am redeemed from eternal punishment. Jesus paid for my justification in full not in part. I reject guilt, condemnation and the accusing voice of the enemy in Jesus name. I am saved. Hallelujah!!!
