PLANTED IN HIS HOUSE

August 23, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Psalms92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Sometimes, when you ask some people why they aren't going to church, they will tell you church is in their heart. They give flimsy excuses for not identifying with a bible believing church especially hypocrisy. You need to understand the church of God is perfect but the people in it may not be perfect and God has designed the church to perfect his people through the ministry gifts (Eph4:10-13).

There may be hypocrisy in church but there won't be hypocrisy in heaven which should be your focus. God wants your feet to be planted in him and in his house, God commanded us not to forsake the assemblies of the brethren. He want us to fellowship with others. He doesn't want us to be an Isolated believer because there is another fellowship in heaven and the church is a microcosm of that heavenly fellowship. Glory!

The benefits of being planted in God's house are numerous but David said those that are planted in God's house shall flourish. Do you want to flourish? Get a bible believing church and identify with them. Every part must supply and you need to benefit from the nutrient flowing in the body of Christ so that you can flourish.

Action point

Father, I receive grace to tap into the nutrients flowing in the body of Christ so that I can flourish In Jesus Name. Amen
