Psalms85:8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
In my few years in this walk of faith, I discovered that many believers do not know how God speaks to them. One area of challenge for many is on how to be led by God in life. I have seen believers that told me God spoke to them about a sister they should marry but they'll come back to tell me it wasn't God. So who did they hear the first time? Some have even done that more than twice.
In fact, people use thus saith the Lord to break relationships, hijack relationships and wreck all manner of havoc. Confusion in our lives is an evidence that we don't know how God speaks to us or probably we are yet to find his will. One major attribute of God is that when he speaks, he speaks peace. His voice doesn't bring panic or confusion.
When you claim to have heard God on a matter and you still lack inner peace, you haven't heard well. It is either God isn't giving you a go ahead on such a matter or you haven't heard well. The peace that comes with God's voice isn't something you can form for yourself, even amidst turmoil, the peace remains because you know who you've heard.
When you're seeking to know his will about a thing, pray in tongues till your spirit man finds the peace to go ahead or signal to stop.
Father, I receive grace to be led by your spirit In Jesus name.
