Proverbs1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
A man said that the day you stop learning, you'll start to die from that day. One of the ways to know a wise man is to check whether such a fellow has a large appetite for learning and ability to follow wise counsels. Some do not bother to search for knowledge and learn new things neither do they yield to wise counsels because they are not surrounded by wise people.
When you assume that you know all things and do not want to learn again, you are foolish. I have noticed that when most people get certified in a discipline, they stop reading. They don't update themselves anymore and they walk around with the toga of titles. There are pastors that don't read books and listen to messages from other ministers, they thought that what they learnt in the seminary is enough.
In life, you cannot go far if your learning isn't continuous through reading and rubbing minds with those that are wiser than you. As a leader, you must have a functional library and create time for meditation. God hardly speak to those that don't meditate because it is in the process of meditation that revelation comes most times.
Learning requires humility, stay humble to learn and become wiser.
Father, I receive grace to learn continuously In Jesus name. Amen
