BREAKING SOUL TIES(C)
There is no soul tie that cannot be broken no matter how strong it is. My Jesus is still in the business of restoring lives and destinies, beating broken lives back to shape and using them for God's glory. No matter how long the devil has dealt with you on the bed of immorality, God can cleanse you and make you whole. Reading this message or teaching, I don't want you to feel guilty at all. The bible says, "let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water" (Heb10:22). The blood of Jesus Christ is still very potent to cleanse your sexual sins and God will never keep the record: "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more"( Heb8:12).
More on breaking soul ties, you have to forgive yourself and those you've been sexually involved with. When you don't forgive yourself, it is a sin. You are belittling the blood of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of God. You must believe that God has forgiven and forgotten all your dirty past. Most times, we fall prey of the enemy's tactics in this area and we become victims of what we're trying to overcome. There are people who are bound in unforgiveness either towards their ex or to themselves. They think that maintaining a steady bitter attitude towards their ex or themselves is what will make sexual sin repulsive to them but while in that condition, they find themselves back to their vomit. Haven't you seen people who regretted ever being in a relationship with a guy/ girl and beat themselves about it and later warm the bed of the person they hate? It happens. In fact, the frequency of sexual involvement may increase thereafter and they'll be wondering why it happened. That's unholy soul tie at work. Such persons are trying to break soul ties with will power and tool of the enemy ( bitterness, anger&hatred). It doesn't work that way. You cannot use the devil's tool against the devil.
When the situation is like this, simply forgive the person and yourself. Break ties with the person physically, emotionally and spiritually and move on. You have to consciously do this and continually renounce the soul ties. Unforgiveness in any form gives the enemy a foothold to deal with you. In Ephesians4:27, the bible says, "and do not give the devil a foothold." You don't have to be a victim of your past in the present. If you are, you may hamper your glorious future. The path to freedom is not always easy because it comes with lots of sacrifices but it is rewarding if you can apply yourself to these counsel. I see God breaking you free from unholy soul ties in Jesus name.
CONFESSION: I walk in love towards anyone in my past. I forgive anyone who may have taken advantage of me in my past and those to whom I gave my body. I forgive myself because God has forgiven me ad His blood has atoned for me. I refuse to be held by my past and I choose to follow God. It is a new dawn for me and my story is changing for good in Jesus name.
