EFFECTS- SOUL-TIE
I heard the story of a lady whose boyfriend attempted to remove her eyes during a scuffle. Somehow, she managed to escape and everyone around her concluded the relationship was over. Not long after, they came together. That surprised everyone. Another story I can never forget is that of a lady who told me her boyfriend always batter her physically. I told her to quit the relationship immediately but she said, "I think he beats me because he loves me". I was dumbfounded immediately she said that. Now, what played out in the two stories is the power of soul tie. When two people are joined together through sex, a soul tie is formed.
What is a soul tie? A soul tie is the spiritual connection binding two or more people together. Often, this is formed through sex. In the Bible, it doesn’t use the word soul tie, but it speaks of souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. Soul ties are not necessarily bad. Soul ties between married couples draw them together like magnets, while soul ties between adulterers&fornicators can draw a beaten and abused woman to the man which in the natural realm she would hate and run from, but instead she runs to him even though he doesn’t love her, and treats her like dirt. I know you might have seen something like this but do not understand. This is where the danger of sexual immorality lies. *When soul tie is formed on the altar of sexual immorality, a single lady or brother will become blind to the killer flaws of his/ her partner only to realize how dangerous those flaws are in marriage." That's why we preach against sex before marriage. If soul tie is not broken between erstwhile lovers who are married to separate spouses, they can have extra marital affair with each other in marriage if the opportunity is there. That's what some commonly call "sparking Old flames". Hardly do ladies break free in their heart from their first boy friend especially the man that deflowered them. That's why we teach that there must be total separation between people who were once sexually active.
In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to pass demonic garbage( curses, retrogression, sickness,etc) through. It is the means of demonic spirit transfer. Many people have become demonized unknowingly through sex. They fight spiritual battles they inherited through sex. As a minister of few years, I've seen this even between legally married couples. This is a deep spiritual truth many refuse to accept. Other soul ties can do things such as allow one person to manipulate and control another person, and the other person is unaware to what is going on or knows what is going on, but for no real reason, allows it to continue. This is witchcraft. That's why sex is a tool of witches to manipulate people. Some men are under heavy manipulation from ladies they've slept with and their wives would be wondering what is wrong with their loving husbands. Today, I am glad to let you know that no matter how far the enemy has dealt with you through soul ties, Jesus can set you free: "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children."( Isaiah 49:24-25).
Father, I break every soul tie formed on the altar of sexual immorality in Jesus name. I receive total deliverance from the garbage brought into my life through soul ties.
