The story in 1 Samuel 19 reveals the potential a spirit-filled atmosphere can have on people that come in contact with it. There is something contagious about being in an atmosphere charged by the Spirit.

Saul sent troops to capture David at Naioth in Ramah. Prophet Samuel kept David in his custody to avoid being killed by Saul. The troops met Samuel leading a band of prophets who were prophesying by the Spirit. All of a sudden, the Spirit of God came upon Saul's men and they began to prophesy. These were lay men not prophets.

Saul himself decided to go capture David under the same atmosphere. While on the way to Naioth, he hadn't gotten there when the Spirit of God came upon him also. He was close to the frequency of operations and he caught the "bug" of the Spirit. At this time, he was backsliden yet he caught the substance of the Spirit in that atmosphere.

In verse 24, the bible says, "He tore off his clothes and lay naked on the ground all day and all night, prophesying in the presence of Samuel. The people who were watching exclaimed, “What? Is even Saul a prophet?”. This is profound.

Do you know you can contact the anointing that operates in an atmosphere only If you can plug into it? If you find yourself in a place charged with the Spirit of prophecy, you'll prophesy effortlessly. In an atmosphere where there is a heavy supply of healing anointing, If you open your heart to receive that anointing, you will lay hands on the sick and get them healed by the anointing.

In the atmosphere of the Spirit, you can become/perform what is available or supplied in that atmosphere. Same applies If you find yourself in a demonic atmosphere. One Satanic music releasing the spirit of immorality into the atmosphere is enough to make people go crazy sexually before realizing what they have done.

A lot of believers still underestimate the power of being in a  Spirit-charged atmosphere. They are dry and struggling spiritually but fail to realize they can activate dead spiritual virtues by positioning themselves in an atmosphere where they can get a supply of the Spirit for their needs.

Sometimes, One reason I go to prayer mountain is not necessarily to pray the prayers they are praying there. However, because it is a prayer atmosphere with a special prayer anointing, I can be there for hours praying in the Spirit and that anointing can last for days/weeks before it wanes.

The anointing can wane. Yes, that's why I endeavour to plug myself into the atmosphere of the Spirit where I can get enough supply of the Spirit. Sometimes, some music carries a unique anointing that releases the Spirit of prayer upon me. When I am weak, I play those songs and key into the supply of the Spirit at that moment.
