Audacity speaks of boldness. An audacious man is a bold man who can confront people and circumstances without any iota of fear.

David was audacious with his faith. Goliath was a national threat in his time. When he spoke, all the armies of Israel retreated into their hiding places. He did this for 40 days issuing threats. He took all the war veterans of Israel to the school of fear.

Men who ran from Goliath were trained war veterans but a shepherd boy who knew nothing about war came on the scene to confront the champion of the Philistines. If he were in our time, someone may ask, "What are you smoking that gave you such audacity"?

Faith in the God of Israel gave him that audacity. That's why he said in vs 46: "Today THE LORD will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel" ( NLT).

He didn't just speak against Goliath but he ran forward to attack him(vs 47): "And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!” [48] As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him". Glory

Faith comes with great audacity that the natural mind cannot explain. When filled with faith, the audacity to speak and confront comes with it naturally.

Don't be tongue-tied. Audacious faith is a speaking faith. Don't let the situation of life paralyse you to the point where you cannot make bold moves. If David had spoken only without making moves to attack Goliath, he would have been killed on the spot.

Look at that situation in your life and speak God's word against it. Do it continuously even in the face of contrary evidence. Act like you have your result and don't fellowship with your challenges. That's how we win.
