Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If[a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”NKJV
One night on campus, I was returning from bible study meeting. As I entered my hostel, there was an uproar about a sad event that happened. I inquired to know what happened. I was told that a young man's penis was taken by a bike man who used diabolic powers on him. I asked to know where he was and they told me he was at the security office. When I got there, I asked relevant authorities to allow me pray for him. The young man wasn't feeling to well in that custody where I saw him and I was privileged to see his private part region. I saw a lady looking troubled pacing the floor of the security house. I asked for his permission to pray with him for restoration and he obliged. After the prayer, I returned to my hostel.
In less than 10 minutes, I was in my room when I heard someone announcing that the penis of the young man had been restored. It was a joyous moment we had that night. Now, that was a miracle. I believe in the God that made great miracles happen in the days of the bible. I believe that all the miracles recorded in the bible are real not fictitious events. I believe the days of miracles are not over yet, we are in the age where God want to display His power more than ever if only we can believe. In the part of the world where I reside, I notice that people are quick to believe in what the devil is doing or has done yet they find it hard to believe in the miracle working power of God.
One thing that stand miracle out is that it defies the order of logic and it breaks natural law. When the axe head fell into the river, it is natural for it to sink into the river because it is a metal but when Elisha brought it up miraculously, it defied scientific logic that a metal would float(2Kings6:1-7). The parting of the red sea has no scientific explanation because it was unnatural( Ex14). This season, if you can believe God, natural laws world be broken for you to experience the miraculous. The only thing you need is to believe God for the miraculous. Do not dwell on the negative things happening around you neither should you close the door against God's miracle working power. I believe in the God that created the world by the word of His power.
Father, I need a miracle(...mention areas of your life where you need a miracle) In Jesus name.
