Eph6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
I listened to the testimony of a witch doctor turned preacher. He said that if they want to get their victims, once they can locate his foot print, they'll put their foot on his foot print and start their evil work from there. The story of a female minister was told to us in the class by one of our lecturers. A man came to her office to visit. This man put his leg in her shoes at the entrance of her office, the man was quizzed on why he did that. The man said that he had a similar shoe at home. This woman of God didn't understand what was happening not until after the man left. When she wore her shoes, she felt a sensation through her body and immediately, she had a strange sexual urge. She picked her phone to call the man but she'll cut the call.
She reported the case to a senior minister who placed her on a seven days fast. It was until after the fast that she was restored. Dearest, spiritual warfare is real and I pity those that deny the existence of demonic manipulation. Your denial of a thing doesn't nullify its existence. Apostle Paul knew what he was saying when he told the Ephesian church to be strong in the Lord and in his power. Ephesus was the custodian of the temple of Artemis, a goddess that is worshipped in Asia. It was a demonic city with strong attachment to that deity. From church history, Timothy was the Bishop of the church in Ephesus when Paul wrote that letter to the Ephesian believers and there was no other church Paul wrote to about spiritual warfare. It was a thriving church of about 5000 people but after a while, the church ceased to exist. That's a sad story. Some scholars believe that the breaking of that church was connected to the high demonic activity in Ephesus and the lackadaisical attitude of Ephesian believers to spiritual warfare.
Some people are still in doubt and denial about believers coming under demonic attack. That you're a believer doesn't mean the devil will go to sleep on your matter. The day you gave your life to Christ, a battle line was drawn between your camp and that of the kingdom of darkness. Blessed be God that we are victorious in Christ. Only those that have developed spiritual strength in the place of the word and prayer can conquer in this terrible warfare. Stop sleeping and start praying. This is the time to set yourself on fire and burn for the Holy Spirit. The fire-carriers are the only set of people the devil dread.
Father, set me on fire for you. May the devil not mess me up in the battle of life In Jesus name. Amen
