PETERINE SYNDROME
Quite a number of us know the story of Peter walking on water. Apostle Peter operated in the miraculous by walking on water. His faith in Jesus' command made it possible.
However, he regressed into unbelief when he started looking at the wind. He took his gaze off Jesus and the result was that he sank gradually. Truthfully, he walked on water. That was a miracle but he sank gradually after the miracle(Matthew14:22-33).
Another reason some believers lose their healing and miracle is because they stopped believing. They regressed into unbelief after getting their miracle.
The devil is tricky. If he cannot get you into unbelief before getting your healing and miracle, he may intensify his effort to draw you into unbelief after you've gotten your healing and miracle.
His aim would be to make you lose your healing and miracle. He may shoot an arrow of pain into your body and he'll whisper words of unbelief into your ears saying, "the healing you received was a hoax".
If you don't talk back to him authoritatively and put him where he belongs, he'll put the same sickness back on you in double fold.
The devil will always try to convince you that your healing was not authentic. He does that through the media today. Alot of junks are out there against the miraculous.
Some people believe all healings and miracles taking place are staged. Some folks no longer believe God for healing because of what they read and see in the media. It is worse when you listen to cessationist theologians.
To keep your healing and miracle, you must continue to exercise the faith you had initially. Faith is not something you use and dump. It must be exercised continuously.
That you received your healing yesterday doesn't mean the devil won't fire his fiery darts of pain and sickness again. Faith is a shield. A warrior doesn't drop his shield at war because arrows can be fired at anytime.
Apostle Paul said, "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." (Eph6:16, KJV).
Father, I shall not lose my healing and miracle in Jesus name.
