"WHEN"- THE QUESTION OF TIMING
In the opening text, we were told that at the right time, God sent his Son. We know what His son came to do, to redeem mankind.
Christ could have come immediately after Adam fell into sin so that he can quickly salvage the situation. He could have come in the dispensation of the law to rescue man from legalism.
During the 400 silent years where no prophet came or arose in Israel after Malachi until John the baptist, He could have showed up but he didn't until the time appointed by God. Why? God has a set time in his agenda for the fulfilment of every divine purpose.
Every divine purpose is timed. God works with time. He is not arbitrary or haphazard. In matters of divinely ordained purpose, anytime is not God's time.
When God reveals his mind to you about an assignment or say His purpose for your life, ask him to reveal the time for the execution of his plans and purpose.
Some went ahead of God and hit the rocks. When you go ahead of God, you will not have his backing or support. When you move with the timing of God, all things needed shall be supplied.
Time is a tool in the hands of God to process us for the right time. That is, when God reveals his mind to us about his purpose for our lives, the waiting time before the time of execution is the period of preparation.
If God has revealed his mind to you about his will, don't rush it. Ask him for the timing.
Father, I will not miss you in Jesus name.
