Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children(KJV).

There was a boat engine technician, Mr Jack by name. In his time, he was an expert in fixing old model boat engines.

A new model of cruise boat had technical issues. Someone recommended Mr Jack to the owner to fix the new boat engines but he got stuck with this new model.

He became confused because he wasn't getting it. He looked like a fool on the job he had been doing for years.

He had a hunch to request for the manual of the cruise boat. In the manual, he read how the manufacturer described what should be done when the engine develop the kind of fault he was trying to fix.

He followed the instruction and he got the job done in few minutes after trying for four days. Just by updating his knowledge through study, he had a breakthrough.

Sometimes, what you need do to get out of confusion is to get accurate information by updating your knowledge.

Mr Jack thought the engine he wanted to repair was like other engines he had been fixing.

We are like that most times. We try to solve today's problems with yesterday's method.

When we are not learning new ways of doing things, we become stagnant. That's the reason experts fail sometimes.

This applies in ministry as well. In ministry, you need to update yourself. You can't run ministry on stale knowledge.

When we run on stale knowledge, stagnancy sets in. In moments of confusion, after getting to that point where it seems all you know to do has failed, go for fresh information. This applies to marriage, ministry, business and career.

The Jews were in captivity but most of them may not know it had been prophesied that their captivity would last seventy years but Daniel got hold of the right information that made him pray the right prayers (Dan9:2).

The information you need may be in some of those books on your shelf or in the library.

The moment you know what to do and how to go about it, that is the end of confusion. There are times God speaks to us through anointed literature materials. I have benefitted so much from this.

Someone has written a book about some of the questions you're asking. Some of the things causing confusion has been solved and documented by someone. Start reading. Update your knowledge.
