"HOW"- THE QUESTION OF PATTERN.
In the voice of healing days in America, Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory was counseled to use tent for his meetings.
Several persons told him they were instructed by the Lord to tell him to have a big tent for his meetings like some evangelists in town but he declined because that was not the pattern of ministry God gave him.
After settling the questions of "What", "Where" and "When" with God in the place of prayer, you need to ask Him the question of "How".
"How" is the question of pattern to follow. It is the question of modus operandi and model. I have come to know God as a very detailed and precise person.
When he instructed Moses to build a santuary in Exodus 25, God gave him detailed instructions on how to go about it. I was surprised that God gave him measurements and types of wood and materials to be used for the articles of the temple.
Others may use the materials that suit them and conventional dimensions or measurements but God instructed Moses to do it differently. He gave him a unique pattern.
The execution of divine purposes and assignments must follow divine pattern.
In the apostolic ministry of Paul to the Gentiles, his pattern was to look for a Jewish synagogue gathering in any Gentile community. He fellowshiped with them and used that platform to reach out to his target audience- the Gentiles.
Two persons may be called to pastor yet their pastoring pattern may be different from each other. I have seen Pastors with special pastoring patterns because of their target audience.
That assignment God gave you has a unique pattern. Have you discovered it?
Spend quality time in prayer asking for details about that assignment. He has promised to lead us( Psalms 32:8).
