GALATIANS 6:7 PRINCIPLE

Galatians 6:7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. NLT

During COVID-19 lockdown, certain truths i know were reinforced and I engaged them to live above the stress of that time. Dr Mike Murdock said, "what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you". On the strength of that biblical wisdom, I took upon myself the burden of helping others despite having my own needs. Naturally, i should have focused on myself and family because that period, the consumption rate of my children increased but the truth I know didn't allow me to rest. Starting from the little we have as a family, myself and my wife decided to give out to those in need. When we saw that more people needed help, we involved the brethren. At the beginning, the idea looked foolish because there was no end in sight for the lockdown but we kept at it.

The miraculous provisions that came for us was amazing. God paid all my bills, no debt no stress whatsoever. Be involved positively in the progress and well being of others and you'll see God take care of you. That's something we all must learn. Some are praying for God's help yet they have not helped others. Some are praying for provision yet they have never met the needs of others in their own little way. Some have great visions for life and ministry and are praying about it but they haven't helped others to achieve their vision through positive contribution. Paul said, "Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others", 1Cor10:24. He is not saying you shouldn't take good care of yourself but it is another way of saying show concern for others. I see how people sweat in prayers on issues that require practical engagement of biblical principle. You have no moral right to ask God for what you have not given or done to others.

In Genesis 8:22, the bible says, "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest,...shall not cease." What you sow( this is not restricted to money only) is what you'll reap. This is not about how long you can pray, it is a biblical principle. Start looking out for the good of others. Life shouldn't be all about you. As you're building a great life, help others build theirs. In the pursuit of your vision, be instrumental in helping others to fulfill theirs. Never compete with others neither should you pull them down. The answer to your prayer requests of years lies in you being the answer to the prayer of another person. There are needs you have today, you may need to meet the same or similar needs for others for yours to be met. Don't forget Dr Mike Murdock's truism: "what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you".

Action point

Father, I receive the grace to be positively involved in the life of others in Jesus name.
