DON'T HOLD ON TO IT TIGHTLY- RELEASE IT

Proverbs11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. KJV

In basic agricultural science, we were told that the way to produce a new fruit is to plant its seed. There's a method of seed known as seed dispersal. Once the seed is dispersed on a fertile soil, it produces a bountiful harvest for the farmer. No farmer in his right senses will expect a harvest of what he hasn't sown. The law of God that works in nature says, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap", Galatians 6:7 KJV.

Kingdom principle for increase is opposed to that of the world. The world's system teaches greed. It teaches people to hoard wealth and to keep gathering never to give. As far as kingdom wealth is concerned, giving out of a heart that loves God and his kingdom is a major driving factor that reproduces wealth. That is not at the exclusion of hard work and creativity. Your substance is a seed that will produce for you a bountiful harvest when it is released. Genesis 8:22 says, "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease", KJV.

Early as a believer, we were taught about stewardship. We were made to realize that whatever we have doesn't belong to us. God only entrusted those things to us as stewards who will give account. The failure to realize that we are not owners of what we have in our possession is the reason we find it hard to give. You own nothing, God owns everything. What you have was entrusted to you by God, you're only a steward who will give account later. God can make a demand for what is in your hands when there's a need for it in his kingdom. Start living with the mindset of a steward.
