Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. KJV
One of the most popular verses in the new testament is Philippians 4:19. Whenever we are in need and we're trusting God for supplies, that is the scripture that readily comes to mind. Paul prayed that prayer for the Philippian church because of what they did. It was not a regular prayer, their action necessitated that prayer. For God to answer that prayer in our lives, we must do what the brethren in Phillipi did.
So you may ask, what did they do that provoked such a wonderful prayer from Paul? The answer is very simple. They gave their substance to support Paul and his ministry: "Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity", Philippians 4:15-16 KJV. The Philippian church gave Paul the needed financial and material support to propagate the gospel. Their act of giving provoked the popular prayers in verse 19.
If you want to walk in the realities of supernatural supplies as prayed by Paul, you must do what the Philippian church did. Support a ministry and a minister that is running with a vision of kingdom expansion. Nobody gives to genuine kingdom course and suffer shame of poverty. In as much as we don't preach to people to give because of what they'll get, yet, there's a standing principle that whatsoever a man sow, he'll reap. Sowers are bound to reap. Heaven's resources will be released to those who will use it to further heaven's agenda on earth. Don't look on while the opportunity to be a blessing to genuine kingdom cause and servant pass you by. Take the right action, it is until after you do that you can boldly claim Phillppian 4:19.
Father, I receive the grace to act on the message in this devotional in Jesus name.
