AS IT IS IN HEAVEN Pt.2

JESUS DEMONSTRATED HEAVEN ON EARTH

Jesus is our perfect example. He taught His disciples to pray that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

I love Jesus! He didn't just pray God's will but He demonstrated God's will on earth.

He lived and displayed heaven's culture on earth. Whatever is not in heaven, he didn't permit in the life of men.

He patterned his ministry after the happenings of heaven as He saw His father doing.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise ( John 5:19).

All the time Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, had compassion on the poor, delivered the oppressed, He was demonstrating the will of the father as it is in heaven.

The anointing upon Jesus was to demonstrate the will of God on earth as it is in heaven.

The bible says, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him" (Acts 10:38).

If people are sick, oppressed, frustrated, depressed and under demonic, it is obvious it is not God's will because it is clear from scriptures that Christ was anointed to undo those things.

If God uses those things to teach people a lesson as some opined, that means God is using Satan's tool to teach his children lessons instead of the Holy Spirit. That can't be.

God can't build what He sent Jesus to tear down.

But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil ( 1 John 3:8 NLT).

In context, the scripture above refers to Christ destroying the works of the devil which is sin. However, we know that with sin came sickness, oppression etc because sin is the root, sickness, failure, oppression and the likes are the fruit of sin.

Some may say, "oh! all you've explained about Jesus demonstrating God's will on earth is in the past. That can't happen again."

If you have this mindset, I want you to read Hebrews 13:8 loud, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever".

Jesus hasn't changed. If He healed the sick in times past, He will still heal the sick today. If He delivered the oppressed in bible days, He will deliver the oppressed today.

Today, Jesus will do all He did in times past through those that believe in Him. He said, "These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed”( Mark 16:17-18 NLT).

Anytime I lay my hands on the sick and those oppressed, I'm fully convinced I'm doing the will of God as it is in heaven. No fear nothing because I know I'm at the centre of His will.

Don't take sides with the devil. That unpleasant situation in your life is not the will of God. As it is in hell so it is in the lives of many and Satan want to impose more of that on people.

Don't accept what he throws at you. Stand against him vehemently. As it is in heaven so it should be in your life. Jesus demonstrated heaven's order on earth. Same should be your testimony.

CONFESSION: I refuse the tokens of the enemy in my life in Jesus name. I enforce the will of God as it is in heaven in my life in Jesus name. In heaven, there's no sickness, I rebuke sickness in my life, in heaven, there's no untimely death, I refuse death, no frustration in heaven, I reject frustration in my life in Jesus name.
