NEW AGE BELIEFS
There's a man whose posts I read online. Reading his post is not deliberate but his topics and captions often draw my attention. A friend introduced me to his writings. The brother who introduced me to his wall once dubbed him 'a reformer' stylishly because this guy attacks established doctrines and teachings of the bible. His conclusions are somewhat derailing and it soothes the flesh. He's been able to convince those who want to indulge in sin to go ahead as long as it doesn't hurt their neighbours. Later, I realized he is a new ager. Unfortunately, he pastors a church and has some "theological training".

belief of this age that you and me must run from and filter out is known as "New Age Beliefs".
What exactly is the New Age? It is Impossible to narrow down. The New Age is actually a vast cocktail of beliefs and practices that is permissive of any action that is deemed good. The New Age beliefs and practices are drawn from Buddhism and Taoism, psychology, and psycho-therapy; paganism, clairvoyance, tarot and magic. New age beliefs is seasoned with liberal thoughts and philosophies that stand opposed to God's word. David Spangler is one of the voices that promulgated what we know today as "New Age".
New age belief is a have-it-your-way religion. It is a self-pleasing way of life. It seeks instant gratification. The new agers will tell you "As long as it is good for you and does not hurt the other person, then you can do it ". Hey! That sounds cool but have you ever considered the fact that something can be good for you and not hurt your neighbour yet not right in the sight of God? Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death." Virtually almost all sinful acts are beneficial to man in one way or the other. God's standard remain the same regardless how we feel and He won't lower that standard for anyone. To know what God stands for on any issue, check His word.
