1Sam28:6 And when Saul enquired of the Lord, the Lord answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.
Pastor E.A.Adeboye told a story about a time in his life many years ago when he stopped hearing from God or we say God stopped speaking to him.
In his account, he felt miserable and helpless because he was disconnected from the direction of the Spirit.
What did he do? He despised another Pastor in his heart because he was called upon to interprete for him. That season of his life was miserable. He prayed to God and vowed never to repeat that mistake.
King Saul was chosen by God and he pioneered monarchy in Israel. When he disobeyed God, he no longer heard from God either through the Urim or prophets.
He ended up consulting a necromancer so that he can receive direction from Samuel. One of the dangerous seasons in the life of a Christian is that season when he is spiritually dull to hear from God.
The silence of God as regards receiving direction could portend danger. The man that no longer hear from God is in danger.
If God has been speaking to you expressly or clearly on issues that pertains to your life before and you're no longer hearing from Him now, you're in a dangerous season of your life.
The devil is ready to lead many into error and destruction when they no longer hear from God. If you're dull spiritually, check your life to be very sure that you didn't unplug yourself from the source.
Disobedience and carnality is the major source of disconnection. That is why Paul said: For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.(Rom8:6).
Spirit of God plug me once again to your channel of direction, I repent of carnality In Jesus name.
