WHAT IS THE SIZE OF YOUR VISION ?

March 09, 2020 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Genesis13:14 The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. 15 All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever

I heard the story of a man that made huge profit from a contract. He took about $1 U.S. dollars to his church but he kept it in his boot. He went to his Pastor asking him what he would do with a million dollar if given to the church. His Pastor told him that he would repair the toilets in the church. He was surprised. He queried further to know if that was all he would do with a million dollar. This Pastor affirmed his previous response. This man reached for his briefcase and he gave the Pastor a few dollars for his church toilet project. He left the office of this Pastor in great disappointment because he thought the Pastor had a vision worth a million dollar seed.

He began to drive round town looking for where to give this money because he wanted to put the money where it would be used meaningfully. As he drove, he heard a Pastor announcing a mega crusade targeted at winning souls and thereafter building a mega church structure that would house souls won to the Lord. He was fascinated hearing that. He drove into the church and he requested to see the Pastor. He asked this Pastor the same question he asked his Pastor. This Pastor began to share his vision for soul-winning and other great things God laid on his heart. This rich man was convinced about giving his million dollar and he gave this Pastor with a big vision raw cash of a million dollar. How big is your vision?

In my discovery, what attracts provision is your God-given vision not how you sweet-talk people into giving. More so, the size of your vision determines the size of the provision you'll attract. If your vision is a toilet-size or pocket-size vision, you will attract toilet-size provision. Why? Because your vision defines your capacity. Those that have mega vision attract mega provision. This is my observation over the years.Do not limit your vision to what any amount of money can sponsor. Your vision should be bigger and greater to a point where only God can sponsor. That way, you won't be intimidated by the size of any provision that comes your way. What is the size of your vision? If all you're living for is to cater for yourself and family, your provision would be limited. Start catching the vision to take your world for Christ, that's so big to occupy you for a life time.

Action point

Father, expand my vision in Jesus name.
