Heb3:14- We have the honor of sharing in all that Christ has if we continue until the end to have the sure faith we had in the beginning. ERV
When I was in the fellowship choir during my undergraduate days, we sang a powerful number titled 'Lord, I will stand until the end'. My big brother in the Lord, Dr Asukpong Eso took the solo. He told me after the rendition that some that are standing now will not stand until the end. That word sank deep into me.
The text scripture made it clear that we can only share the benefits of heaven with Christ IF we stand till the end. Some started well but won't end well. It is not about standing in Christ now but standing in him till he returns. A pastor took a count of some of those he knew that graduated from the bible school, a lot of them fell out and just a few remained.
Some brethren left their commitment to Jesus in school. After graduation, they began to dance to the tune of lukewarmness. I know many sisters that were very hot as spinsters but immediately after marriage, they became so cold and lost the passion they had for the things of God. The end of the world is upon us and God would only reward those that can endure in the race till the end.
I receive grace to finish well In Jesus Name.
