Isaiah50:5- The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Several years ago, I was planning in my heart to get involved in pastoring, I already told a senior colleague about it and he was already making plans to get me into the pastorate of his church. He promised to speak with his General overseer about me and he gave me the assurance that he won't reject me. He also linked me with the pastor of the nearest branch.
I was on my bed one morning, when I had a leading in my spirit to drop the idea and go do street evangelism that will reach area boys in Oshodi- Lagos. We planned a football event that brought the bad boys to the venue with their cigarettes, hemps and beer bottles. We got an evangelist that preached the gospel to them. What an awesome outreach it was!
At every point in time in your life, you must be able to discern whose voice you are hearing. Whenever God speaks to you clearly about a matter, obey promptly so that you can say like Prophet Isaiah that you weren't rebellious to God's leading. The assignment you reject today would be transferred to another person.
Obey his voice so that you won't be replaced.
