1Tim6:18- Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others...(19) By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life. NLT
A wealthy Korean Pastor had a revelation about his mansion in heaven. When he got there, he saw nice buildings owned by his members and other unpopular Christians. The angel took him to his own portion, he saw that it was still at the foundation level. The angel explained to him that he hasn't invested much in kingdom things, that's why his heavenly home is at that level (paraphrasing).
Dearest, the money in your hands is for good works to help the poor, widows, orphans and those in need. Also, investing in kingdom advancement projects like we do in our ministry is a huge plus to your heavenly account. When you do it in the now, you're laying a good foundation for your future in heaven.
Let it touch your heart today that the little you've been giving to the poor has been on record in heaven. Don't be rich for your pocket alone, let God find an expression in what he has given you. God own everything you have, you are just a steward who will give account later.
