I was discussing about the issue of homosexuals with some people. We heard in the news how police disrupted an homosexual party. For me, that's good news because it is victory over evil. However, what caught my attention in the news was what the leader of the homosexual group said to the man who rebuked him. He boasted about his connection to those higher than the man in ranking. That implies that there are men in high places who may pick interest in what that guy is doing even though they may not be involved. I have always known that evil doesn't thrive in any society without the back up of those in power.
From the opening text, I noticed that God frown at those involved in sin and those that are interested in it as well. Some are interested in certain vices though they are not involved, God is seeing them as one with those involved. Sin starts from the heart not with action. God knows that with time, those that have interest will surely be involved. It is just a matter of time. When I see Christians defend certain social ills, vices and corruption, something tells me that if they're not involved now, they will sooner or later. It is just a matter of time.
You must hate sin, don't try to rationalize it. The voice of truth must be louder than the voice of reason and excuses when talking about sin. If you ask kidnappers, fraudsters, ritualists, thieves, prostitutes and corrupt persons why they're involved, they will give excuses that maybe valid economically but totally anti God. God does not understand with us when we sin. There's nothing like, 'if I do this, God understands with me'. God doesn't. The judgement of God is coming on those that sin including those that are interested in it.
