Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. KJV
If you see a man who does not have Christ, yet has not committed a single sin all his life, is he qualified to be called a saint? If you want to judge by moral standard, he is qualified to be called a saint. However, by God's standard, he's a stinking sinner. You maybe surprised why a man who has never committed a sin would be adjudged a "stinking sinner". Well, the answer can be found in the bible.
Man is inherently sinful not because he committed any sin but because his nature is corrupted with sin. Romans5:12, "When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned".(NLT). So, when we were in the loins of Adam, our progenitor, we had sinned before coming into the world. Mankind inherited the nature of sin because Adam sinned. Adam made us to be born as sinners.
David knew this to be true that was why he said, "For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me" Psalms 51:5(NLT). This is true for mankind. Goodnews! What Adam lost, Christ came to give to us all, that is the gift of righteousness( Rom5:17). This is not a righteousness that you work for or can attain by effort, it is a gift. Religion is "trying" to make people righteous but faith in Christ makes people righteous. Putting your faith in Jesus imputes righteousness unto you because someone paid the price. If you want this gift of righteousness, say the prayer below.
