Rom12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
When i was in the university, there was a joint university fellowship that comprises of different campus churches. Whenever we meet to fellowship, the atmosphere was always saturated with God's power. Our relationship with one another was strong because the love of Christ was the bond regardless of denomination. Fast-forward into my service year, i was part of a wonderful united body of believers across denominations.
We lived in thesame house, ate thesame food, prayed together for a year and more. There was no iota of bias in our relationship. I can remember vividly how we prayed and stopped the devil in his tracks. Hallelujah!!! One of God's formula for dismantling the gates of hell is when believers do warfare as a united force. In moments of national crisis when the enemy is firing fiery darts at the body of Christ, our united stand is the guarantee for victory.
Many years ago, i always look down on anyone that is not a pentecostal believer. I was raised to believe those we classify as 'orthodox' are not spirit- filled and those in the white garment are all fetish. God began to deal with me knowing he would use me for his body, my orientation changed. I always say that a united devil would always defeat a divided Jesus. Thank God, Jesus cannot be divided but his body can. The enemy is using every tactics to weaken the body of Christ. Anytime you begin to see your brother in Christ lesser than you, the enemy has gotten you.
Father, may your body be united In Jesus name.
