When I was younger in the faith, I dread to hear certain subjects preached especially eschatology (study about end time happenings). No one taught me to be happy about Christ's coming, though it is good to be sober under such teachings but at thesame, we need to see the rapture of the saints as a thing of joy because that is one of our exit from this sinful world.
Whether our generation like to hear it or not, the rapture will happen as it has been written and it can happen as you're reading this devotional. Most centres don't preach or mention this vital upcoming event, some even have a distorted view that when a believer sleeps, his/her rapture has occurred. Well, according to the scripture, rapture is an event exclusive of death.
Rapture is a rapid disappearing of the saints of God to meet with Christ in the air at the blast of the trumpet by the archangel and the dead in Christ shall rise first and those on earth shall join. Salvation and holy living is the key. Heaven is too good to miss, if you're not born-again, you have the privilege to give your life to Christ today.
Your christianity is a waste if making heaven is not your focus.
