Daniel6:5 Then said these men, we shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Daniel became the envy of his time, he was a political leader of his time that was filled with God's wisdom. He was envied and his colleagues sought for how to kill him. They checked the contracts he signed, they discovered that he didn't inflate contracts neither did he accept kick backs. They 'googled' his life for impurity but none was found.
They decided to influence the king to make a law that no one should pray or ask anything except from the king in 30 days. Senator Daniel opened his windows and prayed 3 times daily facing Jerusalem. He was caught and thrown into the lion's den but God delivered him.
God is looking for men like Daniel today. Men whose life would be spotless in public service and the only 'but' in their lives would just be their pure lives.
It is possible to live purely in this impure world. Don't try to live your life to please people and displease God. Daniel's life was displeasing to his fellow politicians and they felt that if they make a law that touches on his devotion to God, he would backslide. What if you were told not to pray or go to church by the government of the day, will you obey?
Be the light in this dark world.
