Jer31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. 30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
I have seen how believers in recent years have placed so much emphasis on breaking curses and fighting curses. Some ministers have turned themselves to specialist in breaking curses and lots of people have this notion that they are suffering from what their fathers did. I am not doubting the fact that generational curses exist, I know it does.
When you read the scripture above, you'll see that if any true child of God is still suffering from a generational curse, it is purely their fault and not even the devil. The scripture above is a way out and all you need do is to stand on that scripture to claim your victory. If you linger in generational curse, it is your fault.
I must not suffer for the sins of my father because the scripture said everyone will suffer for his own sins. Don't let the devil hoodwink you with lies that you and your fourth generation must suffer for the sins of your grandparents, God's word is clear to you today that you won't suffer another man's sins.
Stay on God's word and enforce it with prayer because that's the surest path to victory.
I rebuke the lies of the devil over my life and henceforth I refuse to suffer for the sins of my ancestors by the word of God in Jer31:29-30. I claim total freedom In Jesus name.
