STOP MAKING A NOISE

October 31, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Isaiah30:15 For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

When I was in primary and secondary school, there was a common saying by some of our teachers that we should stop making a noise. Sometimes, the class captain would write names of noise makers and I was smart not to be on that list because the canes of some teachers would make you see the stars and hear the rolling thunders.

Now, my point is that when we make noise, we disturb ourselves and disturb others around us. The worst type of noise is internal noise. It saps our spiritual strength and robs us of receiving direction from the Spirit. You may not believe it but many people are making internal noise, it is so bad that some people talk when alone and rehearse their hurts and how to get angry.

Bitterness of heart is a huge noise that kills spiritual shine. Bitterness would make you nurse your hurt, rehearse them and make you manifest them. Let the light of God's word shine into your heart today and stop that noise. Those that hardly forgive people have a lot of noise in their heart because they'll keep thinking about the the other person.

If you have locked anyone in the prison of

your heart, that's too much noise because the person would want to come out but you'll suffer the consequences alone.

Action point

I receive grace to be quiet on the inside In Jesus name.
