Proverbs11:13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter
I read a short piece on the internet sometimes ago. It was the story of three pastors that had dirty secrets and they decided to confide in one another. The first pastor said that he had a weakness for women and that he had fallen into adultery several times. The second pastor said that he stole church fund.
The third Pastor began to cry profusely and the first two pastors thought that his was worse than theirs so they asked him why he was crying. He said he had a weakness for not being able to keep secrets and that he would reveal all he had heard. Any man that can't keep secrets will end up breaking precious relationships. Wonderful relationships have hit the rocks because one of the parties is a chronic tale-bearer.
If you must get to the desired place of God for you in destiny, don't use people's issues to preach to others in their presence. Once I notice that a friend has a leaking mouth, I don't share intimate issues with such a fellow. We all have secrets, it may not be negative but there are aspect of our life that isn't glaring to the public.
Dear preacher, when people confide in you, help them out of their issues and don't use their issues to preach your next message.
