In my service year, someone gave me a book that has turned my life round and prepared me for fatherhood in the bible way. The book is titled 'Husbands&Fathers' by Derek Prince. I recommend the book to all fathers,husbands and the would-be husbands.
As a man in the home, God has placed you as the Priest,Prophet and teacher of your home. Zechariah by the Spirit of God had an insight into the future of John's life and he prophesied accordingly. I noticed that he didn't prophesy because he was a prophet of the people but he prophesied because he was man that was in tune with the Spirit for his family. The scripture above said 'he was filled with the spirit and he prophesied'.
This end-time, God wants to raise father-prophets that will see into the future of their children, declare it and nurture them to become what God has destined them to be. We have too many father-confusers today, they impose a career on their child(ren) thereby confusing the child.
As a man, you have a price to pay, join the train of father-prophets.
