Matt5:46- For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Alley Novak had a neighbour that turned his door step to a refuse dump. When the courier man comes to deliver his neighbour's mails, he would keep it for him and deliver it to him with a sincere smile because he doesn't have a mail box.
On a fateful day, Alley Novak's neighbour had an accident and he needed blood, his wife and kids were away. The only person that could pay his bills and donate blood was Mr Alley. When Alley got wind of the news, he paid the man's bills and donated some blood. The neighbour asked Mr Alley what he understood by love, Alley Novak said 'love is when christ lay down his life for sinners'.
The troublesome neighbour admitted that he doesn't know Christ but he said 'real love is when Alley Novak can pick the mails of his refuse dumping neighbour,pay his medical bills and donate blood'. There are men&women out there that aren't 'loveable' by human standards but God is expecting us to show them what real love is.
Real love is loving those that aren't worth loving but still you chose to love them because of Christ.
