Mal2:7-"The words of a priest's lips should preserve knowledge of God, and people should go to him for instruction, for the priest is the messenger of the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
In the old testament, everyone look up to the priest for instruction and direction at certain times. The priests were so pivotal to the progress of the nation of Israel such that God had to command the Levites to be full-time priests so that they can discharge their duties properly.
In this present dispensation, redemption has qualified you to be priests and kings unto God (Rev 1:5-6). The status of a priest confers a great responsibility on you. People should come to you for instruction and knowledge should be found on your lips. There are believers that have spent 10yrs in the faith and cannot give bible-based counsel to babes in Christ.
We aren't trying to say that you must boss around fellow believers everytime but when babes in the faith come to you for counsel, your priestly role must come into play. God has placed you in that office, school or organization as a priest to give righteous instructions in righteousness.
