Rom3:19-20 What the law says is for those who are under the law...because no one can be made right with God by following the law.
Some believers that have the Pharisaic spirit may have a little problem with this teaching because Pharisees believe you must do 'something' to earn righteousness and that was the reason why they had a lot of problem with Jesus.
The stand of Jesus was clear on the case of the adulterous woman as regards how God forgives in this dispensation. According to the law of Moses, she should be stoned but Jesus pardoned her. If God were to use OT standards of the law to judge every of our short-comings, none of us would be alive including those that preach the law.
Righteousness cannot be attained by trying to obey the 'letters' of the law because those laws aren't meant for you because the scripture above said so. Some believers have turned legalists instead of living in Love.
We are only bound by the Law of Love as stated by Jesus and revealed or explained better in 1Cor11.
I expel the spirit of religion from my life and I walk in Love In Jesus Name.
