ARE WE BOUND BY MOSAIC LAWS?Pt.10

October 31, 2013 · Lanre Oyeleke · 3 views

2Cor3:14- But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

The scripture above is referring to those that haven't gotten a full grasp of what Jesus came to do in the new testament, they still feel they have to pay for their salvation after all He did on the Cross or follow strictly the Laws of Moses to attain righteousness.

They haven't suscribed to the salvation that comes by grace through faith(not by works of the law) Eph2:8-9. Some may say the scripture said we should WORK FOR our salvation, NO, the scripture only said WORK OUT your salvation( denoting a conscious obedience to God's will).Phil2:12

The scripture rightly refers to the ministry(Laws) of Moses as:

*2Cor3Vs7 ministry of death

2Cor3Vs9 ministry of condemnation. Heb7:16- law of a carnal commandment

The grace to live right has been made available in Christ that was why Titus2:11-12 made it clear that grace to say NO to ungodliness has appeared to all men. Christ brought that grace not the laws of Moses. Tap into grace.

Action point

Living in sin is a slap on grace, use grace wisely to please God- it is a privilege to live in this dispensation.
