Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory had a vision where he saw a monkey-like creature, a demon. In that vision, Jesus was talking to him but he couldn't hear him. This creature was between him and Christ jumping up and down.

He rebuked this demonic creature in the name of Jesus. The demon left and then he began to hear the words of Jesus clearly. He was curious to know why Jesus couldn't do anything about the demon that obstructed his conversation with him. Jesus told him he wouldn't have done anything If he (Kenneth Hagin) hadn't done something about it.

Jesus made it clear to him that it is the believer's responsibility to deal with demons not his because all he needed to do about them has been done on the cross. Meaning that If a believer comes under serious demonic oppression, God will not do anything about it except the believer takes authority over the situation.

God has done all he needed to do in Christ and through him on the cross. The cross is the junction of victory where divinity intervened for humanity. Authority has been given to the man in Christ. Now, he can deal with Satan and his minions.

I need to let you know that God has given you authority to deal with demons. The power to trample over serpents&scorpions has been given to you not because you merit it but because of Christ's finished work on the cross.

Stop running around looking for who to deliver you from demonic oppression. You can do it yourself because you have what it takes. Seeking prayers and deliverance everywhere might introduce you to extra biblical practices.

The name of Jesus is enough. Satan cannot withstand the exercise of your authority in Christ. Do it now, do it yourself.
