Years back, there was a wicked vice chancellor in one of our federal universities. The whole university community dreaded him because he used his privileged position to oppress staff especially those in the staff school. Many believed he got his power from India.
They engaged his church priest to beg him to soft pedal but he remained adamant. God gave him time to repent but he had the genes of Pharoah in him. He dealt with them very well even to the point of witholding the salaries of those in the staff school for about 19 months. When his wickedness reached a crescendo, they started organizing days of fasting and prayer weekly. Not long after, EFCC( anti graft agency) picked him up and he was removed.
After his ordeal with EFCC, he died mysteriously. In death, he was not celebrated. His name was associated with oppression and evil. Today, his memory is not blessed because he gave himself to be used by Satan to act wickedly.
Another head of state in a west african country had a killer squad. Killing was his hobby especially those that opposed him. News filtered that he was planning to arrest an anointed man of God. A day before the arrest, he died. Citizens trooped out singing and dancing because the national oppressor died.
God still fights for his own. There are men and women who have sold their hearts to Satan. They work hand-in-hand with Satan. No matter how you appeal to them, they have decided to violate their consciences. The bible talks about men whose conscience is seared as with hot iron (1 Tim 4:2).
Under such men, people are yoked and oppressed but God will not neglect the righteous to suffer for long. The bible says, “I will save you from the hands of the wicked and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel"( Jeremiah 15:21 NIV). This is God's promise to you and me.
"But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you"( Matthew 5:44).
If anyone has willingly partnered with Satan to oppress you, keep loving that person but report the case to God. Let God decide the judgement of that fellow while you walk in love with that person. Do not fight the wicked simply pray against their wickedness.
