May 11th, 2025Our building project in the ministry made me realize the importance of laying a solid foundation. At a time, when an expert came for inspection, he asked that we demolish some columns so as to correct the foundation because the previous foundation could not carry the expected load.

We can relate that to our walk with God. The opening text says God's foundation is built on righteousness and justice. Righteousness refers to doing what is right while justice refers to fairness in judgement. It is giving people what they deserve based on their action.

Now, If we understand that, we can predict God. Whatever is not done in righteousness or lacks fairness cannot get the endorsement of God because anything God does or is involved in cannot be laid on the foundation of lies, injustice and unrighteousness.

A marriage, ministry, career, business, relationship built on falsehood, unrighteousness& injustice cannot get God's endorsement. Never!

You cannot be stealing and still be paying tithe and offering from it. God will not accept such because the foundation is corrupted with unrighteousness.

God does not join liars in holy matrimony. Man may join them but God will never be involved because lies, deceit and falsehood has corrupted the foundation. Saying God joins deceitful people in marriage is an attack on his holiness. A gross misrepresentation of his character.

When politicians manipulate in electioneering process winning dubiously, God is not the one that enthrone such a political leader. Though he knows about it because he is omniscient but he will not endorse it because the process is tainted with corruption. This debunks the idea that God enthrones every leader even If they get there killing and bribing. The unrighteousness of man cannot fulfill the purpose of God. He is a holy God.

The moment we think we can do any unrighteous thing to get results and still get God to endorse it, we'll be giving license to gross unrighteousness. If God's foundation for all his actions are laid on righteousness and justice, we should not be different.

Before entering into marriage, tell your spouse to be about things in your past that can affect your marriage If discovered. Don't hide it. It is better to lose a relationship on the grounds of truth than lose a marriage on account of deceit discovered.  The pain of deceit when discovered will be more than the love before discovery.

As a business man, your contractual terms and rules of engagement should be clear. Do not hide facts from whom you are dealing with. Be plain and clear in your dealings.
