I once traveled through a large palm plantation in some villages. I noticed the villagers built their houses in a strategic location somewhere inside the palm plantation. In villages where there are palm trees, it is hard to see villagers cut it down like they do to other trees.

Instead of felling the palm trees, they leave them to flourish because of its value. Today, i'll share another secret about the palm tree.

The palm tree is a very useful tree, you need to live with villagers to see how they revere palm trees. People hardly cut palm trees because of its usefulness.

From a single palm tree, there are more than five products of economic value that can be extracted from its different parts. No part of the palm tree is useless. It flourishes as they use it.

Everything in your life is useful to God. He want to use them all for his glory. Pastor E.A. Adeboye said he once asked God why he allowed him study mathematics for years since his plan for him is to be a preacher.

The Lord told him he allowed him to study mathematics because he want him to preach mathematically. That may sound funny but it is true. His preaching method is mathematical in a way, systematic and simple.

Your degree, money, time, skill, exposure, and all your endowment are useful to God. If you want to flourish like the palm tree, you must be ready to be used by God for his glory.

Your usefulness must be without condition. You and your possession must be available for God's use at all times. He gave those things to you, he is the owner you are just a steward.

The more you are available for God's use, the more you flourish. Make yourself available for his kingdom purposes.
