My dad told the story of how he got born again. He once lived with a popular drunk who was tipsy almost all the time. One day, he saw this man praying and he observed he had stopped drinking. He approached him to know when the change occured and how it happened. This erstwhile drunk narrated to him how he met Christ.

He then requested to know his church because he wanted to fellowship in the church where this drunk man met Christ. He promised this man that he would only attend there once never to come again. At this time, he wasn't born again, he was a nominal christian attending one of the white garment churches in town.  

As he entered the church where this drunk man met Christ, the congregation was few and they met in a wooden structure. That day, the preacher's illustration was as though he knew my dad and the life he was living. An altar call was made for those who wanted to surrender their lives to Christ, he stepped out and from then till now, he's been in Christ.

If my dad did not see a good example of a transformed life, he may not have given his life to Christ. Probably, he'll still be a nominal church goer but without salvation experience. No one told him to go to church. He only saw someone whose life was transformed and he asked to know his church.

One good example is powerful and can bring about a total teansformation in our neighbourhood, community and the society at large. What that sinner need might just be a good example of a true believer. Evangelism made me realize there are sinners who knows most of the bible verses we quote but only few people around them are living the bible life. 

Exemplary living is a form of evangelism on its own.

Make up your mind to be a model of christ like living. Let your life communicate the truth of scriptures without words. That is not to nullify speaking about Christ to people. Both must go hand-in-hand. However, you may not have the chance to share your faith with everyone but your life can preach to people without words.

Be an example of true christian consecration in your family. If you want to raise godly children, let them see Jesus in your life. Model responsible fatherhood&motherhood in your home. What your children see is what they'll become. Be an example of what they ought to become- responsible father&mother in the future.
