While growing up, there was a section in most newspapers dedicated to zodiac signs. It is a form of star reading and how it influences humans. In that section, people check their Zodiac signs like: Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini,Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius or Capricorn.
I have seen christians subscribe to the beliefs and predictions of zodiac signs. A man once told me not to deliver something on a certain day because he has astrological backings for what he said. Some are using zodiac signs to determine their choice of whom to marry, job, location and so on.
The art of checking Zodiac signs and getting interpretations of their assumed influence on humans is a practice of astrology. God is totally against this. It is a subtle form of idolatry and divination in an "educated" way. In Deuteronomy 18:10-14, astrology as a form of divination was expressly forbidden and God declared judgement on astrologers in Isaiah 47:13-14.
In Deuteronomy 4:19, God forbade the Israelites from worshipping the host of heaven: "And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth"( NLT).
Right from bible days, astrologers were put to shame by God's prophet. The royal court of Babylon had astrologers( Dan 1:20) but couldn't interpret the King's dream until Daniel showed up( Dan 2:27). Meaning that astrology doesn't know all things. Why subscribe to astrology when the Holy Spirit is available for you? He knows all things.
"But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you"( John 14:26 NLT).
Your future is not in the stars but in the word. If you can study the word, you will discover your future in it and the Holy Spirit is available to interpret for you what you don't understand in it.
Stop consulting astrological writings to predict your life and destiny. What you carry is more than what any astrologer possess.
