James Audubon was an American ornithologist, naturalist, and painter who dedicated his life to documenting birds of North America. Audubon is best known for his groundbreaking work "The Birds of America," a comprehensive collection of 435 hand-colored, life-size prints depicting 497 bird species.
Though he was made popular and wealthy through his work of art, he did not start that way. He tried his hands on several things and worked in certain places that left him frustrated. His breakthrough and fulfilment came when he looked within and pursued his innermost passion- art.
What put James Audubon in history books was simply because he found the right direction in life and walked in it. If he had remained in those places where he worked without fulfilment, we may not hear about him today.
One decision you can make in the present that will impart your future positively is to find the right direction for your life and walk in it.
Your past was marked by walking on the wrong path in destiny with many dreams unfulfilled because they were not pursued. Probably, that is why you seem confused about life at the moment. Life seems meaningless because you are running another man's race instead of yours.
You may be making money and be fine but are you fulfilled? Are you where God want you to be doing what he has called you to do? As long as you are not in the will of God for your life, you will never find fulfulment later in life.
You'll be reducing yourself to a bystander or spectator If you do not find your place in life.
You can give your tomorrow the gift of finding the right path for your life today and start walking in it. When you enter into your tomorrow and look back, you'll be glad you made the right decision.
Don't start your life's assignment after you retire from a path that is not yours. The time to discover and start up is now. Do not do in your 50s what you should do in your 20s&30s. There is time for everything.
Are you where you ought to be? Are you doing the right thing or just anything? Be sincere in your answers to these questions. It is never too late to change gear and switch lane.
