Gal6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. KJV
Some men are wondering why their wives are always reacting and nagging. Some women are also concerned about the funny attitudes of their husbands.
While there's no justification for wrong doing whatsoever, some persons are only reaping the reward of their actions. There's a way you'll handle a woman and she'll give you her best and vice versa.
I have been to the prayer mountain several times and I can tell you that some men on the prayer mountain are praying death for their wives because they feel she's a witch. This I know firsthand from interactions. When they return home, the wife they wished death for may even be the first to welcome them.
I've taken my time to examine this funny trend and I concluded that most of those women are not witches but these men pushed their wives to the wall through their uncaring and unloving attitude. It is natural for a woman to react funnily when her mind isn't at rest in her marriage.
The threshold of endurance only differ from woman to woman regardless of how spiritual they are. How I wish I'm privileged to preach to some of those men praying death for their wives, I'll tell them to go sow the seed of love into their marriages.
In computer programming, there's an acronym known as 'GIGO' which means garbage in garbage out. What they're saying is that a computer will only give back what has been programmed into it.
In agriculture, under normal circumstances, whatsoever you sow is what you'll reap. The principles shared applies to marriage. You cannot get from your marriage what you have not invested into it. Simple!
I keep hearing about making marriages work on the lips of almost every marriage counselor. How can we make marriage work? By sowing the right seeds into our marriages. Which seeds are we talking about here? Mango, corn, orange or apple seeds? Of course not. The bible specified the seeds to be sown.
To the husband, the bible commanded that you love your wife as Christ loved the church, Eph5:25. This love is unconditional. Love is the primary need of a woman, if you give it to her without reservation, you'll get the very best from her. Even when it seems the result is not forthcoming, keep sowing the seed of love. Don't stop. In due season, you will reap a good harvest.
To the woman, bible's prescription is submission ,( Eph 5:24). The word of God didn't attach condition to it. Feminism is trying to attach a condition to submission and sometimes they don't even regard it at all. Some don't even like to hear that word.
From the beginning, God knew what will make marriage work because he founded the institution. No matter how we try, the bible principle still work for all times and all ages. Wives, sow the seed of submission and respect into your husband's lives without holding back. Keep doing it, don't stop.
That you're not getting result today doesn't mean you won't get result. I don't know of any farmer who plants a seed and expect harvest on the same day. A good farmer will continue to nurture, water and weed out unwanted plants for the seed he planted to grow. Same applies to marriage.
Doing what the bible prescribes won't produce magical result. God is a God of process. Your duty is to keep at it until it produces result.
CONFESSION: Father, I receive the grace to sow the right seeds into my marriage. My home is built on godly principles and my marriage is working by the power of the Spirit In Jesus name.
