MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ADAM AND EVE NOT ADAM AND STEVE

Years back, a sister told me that I should watch what will happen to the world in the coming years about the issue of recognition and acceptance of homosexual practice. She predicted that the enemy will sell the idea of accepting Gays&Lesbians through the media repeatedly until churches and society see nothing wrong in same-sex union. Gradually, not up to a decade after that discussion, nations and peoples that once saw same sex union as ungodly are beginning to accept it claiming some were created by God for homosexual union. The unfortunate phrase they use "sexual orientation." They assert that some persons are created that way. Unfortunately, some persons I know are now sharing this view. The devil is a smart devil. I was discussing with a brother sometime ago about this same issue. In our discussion, he sounded a little bit apologetic towards Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender& Queer rights. He said there is an argument that most homosexuals are created by God to have such feelings so it is their natural frame/ sexual orientation. Quickly, I refuted that claim. God didn't create anyone with a sexual orientation for same-sex feelings or union. It is purely demonic. This is what the bible says, “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin"(Leviticus 18:22 NLT). Reading further in Leviticus 20:13, homosexual union was punishable by death: "If a man violates his father by having sex with one of his father’s wives, both the man and the woman must be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense. “If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense." This shows the extent to which God hates this sin.

Pauline revelation in the new testament confirms homosexual union as a sin that made God abandon those practicing it. Romans 1:26&27, speaking about homosexuals say, "THAT IS WHY GOD ABANDONED THEM TO THEIR SHAMEFUL DESIRES. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved." When we call an act a perversion, it means it is a deviation from the norm. Right from the old testament, God frowned at the practice of homosexuality and same sex marriage. In fact, it was an abomination before God and it still remain so, Lev18:22,20:13. Going further into the new testament, Jude 7 expressly told us that one of the reasons why Sodom and Gomorrha was destroyed was because of this issue: "And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment." In Greek, the phrase translated as sexual perversion literally mean 'Unnatural sexual intercourse' like homosexual intercourse. Even in the ancient world, it was regarded as unnatural.

If the generation before us did not receive the endorsement of God for same-sex marriage but a fierce judgement, do you think ours would be exempted? I don't know many things about marriage but the little I know is from the scriptures. I didn't see homosexual couples/ gay christians in my bible neither did I see anyone under the old covenant who professed to be practicing homosexual and still partook in temple worship. It is paradoxical to be a Christian and homosexual at the same time. God instituted marriage as a union between heterosexuals not homosexuals. It must be between a man and woman; there's a high manipulation of scriptures going on among same-sex marriage apologists. They've twisted scriptures to support their perversion. They have their bible scholars and exegetes. I'm fully aware of this. However, the foundation of the Lord stands sure. When God wanted to give Adam a help mate, he would have given him 'Steve'( a male) rather he gave him 'Eve'( a female). No matter how homosexuals try to paint their perversion with rainbow colours, I stand with the bible on thIs matter. Liberals are saying we should promote a society where people are free to do as they like( same-sex marriage inclusive) as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. However, it hurts God deeply even when Christians see nothing wrong in it. He feels so bad about it. God is saying His judgement is not only for those that practice LGBTQ but also for those that support them: "who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them"(Romans 1:32 KJV).
