MULTIPLYING IN OPPRESSION

November 11, 2014 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Ex1:12 But the more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more the Israelites multiplied and spread, and the more alarmed the Egyptians became. NLT

When the Pharoah that knew not Joseph was enthroned in Egypt, he declared that male babies should be killed but God spared the life of Moses miraculously. They assigned task masters to the Jews and that made life unbearable for them, they thought that when they oppress them, then an entire race would be wiped out but the more they oppressed the Jews, the more they multiplied.

God knew what he was doing when he allowed the Children of Israel multiply in Egypt. What the devil meant for evil was upturned to the advantage of God's people. When the devil tries to bring you down, block your way and make a mess of your life, just know that there is grace to stand strong and come out of those issues as though nothing has happened.

In slavery, Joseph rose through the ranks and was respected till he got to the throne. You are a spiritual Jew by virtue of redemption, when you walk with the Lord, oppression can lead to your multiplication. Don't be too concerned about what the devil can do or is doing, but always focus on what God will make out of your life when the devil is hurling attacks at you. Glory!

Action point

CONFESSION: I receive grace to multiply during oppression, I turn every attack and delays into a stepping stone to my greatness. I am a recipient of grace and my glory shall shine in this dark world In Jesus Name.
