Gal3:11- 'No one can please God by obeying the law'.CEV
The pharisees had an argument during the time of Jesus about which of the law was the greatest because when they counted all the Mosaic laws, it was above 600. Moses told them they have to obey everything so that God can be pleased with them. In their heart, they knew that it was impossible to obey all the laws.
They asked Jesus to tell them the greatest of those laws so that they would focus on that alone. As new testament believers, we have a new way of life laid down by Christ our high priest. He is the head of this new order, Moses was a type and shadow of Christ but not the real. The old covenant is gone and the new has come with Christ as the head.
When Christ died and resurrected, grace was made available unto all. That is why salvation is not what you work for, it has been paid for. Those laws were written for you but not to you. The law was given to those in that dispensation. You need to acknowledge in your heart the finished work of Christ on the cross and start walking with him.
CONFESSION: I live and walk in the finished work of christ on the cross and I am not under the law nor its curse, I'm free, redeemed and released In Jesus Name.
